Annika Meyers, Pharm.D.

Dr. Annika Meyers grew up in the Midwest. She graduated with her PharmD in 2023 from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa with a focus on global and comparative public health.  After graduation, she completed a PGY1 public health pharmacy residency at the County of Santa Clara Health System in San Jose, California before starting at Memorial Medical Center as the PGY2 Emergency Medicine resident. PGY-1 Residents

Jose Bautista, Pharm.D.

Dr. Jose (Joe) Bautista, a first-year pharmacy resident at Memorial Medical Center, is dedicated to educating healthcare professionals and patients. He earned his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Texas at El Paso, his hometown. He is excited to bring his knowledge to the Southern New Mexico region.

Heather Howell, Pharm.D.

Dr. Heather Howell received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Texas at El Paso School of Pharmacy and holds a Bachelor’s in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She has an interest in emergency medicine and trauma. Dr. Howell is passionate about advancing the pharmacy profession, advocating for patient care, and actively engaging in professional organizations to promote education, collaboration, and innovation as seen through her involvement nationally with Phi Lambda Sigma (PLS), the American Pharmacists Association (APhA), and American Society of Health-system Pharmacy (ASHP). Notably, Heather is coming off of her term as chair of the ASHP Pharmacy Student Forum executive committee and is continuing her involvement in the ASHP New Practitioner's Forum Practice Advancement Committee and PLS Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Taskforce.
